  The Company was founded in 1946, and evolved at the same time as the Italian economical growth, and more in general, together with the western countries’ development.
The first commitments aimed to supply the small Companies operating in the after-war reconstruction, for both power & industrial fields. As time went by, La Marves specialised in supplies to major Companies exporting the Italian technology to developing countries.

The first relevant international job was the Innocenti tubes steelwork in Orinoco (Venezuela, 1962): meantime the connections increased: Power Companies (which were private then), Manufacturing Industries such as Chatillon and Richard Ginori, mechanical, such as Oerlikon Italiana and Pirelli Cavi.

At the beginning of 70’s, with the incoming activity of Mr Marco Vittadini, the number of customers raised including the ENI Group Companies, which were expanding in that period in Italy and abroad, as far as the petrochemical field and connected assemblies were concerned.

This delicate phase more qualified the growing demand for a larger range of products, starting from tools (a huge sector itself), up to the traditional tool machines for maintenance workshops and advanced technology instrumentation for the industrial plants maintenance and measuring of physical growths.

In November 1983 the Company changed its trade registration into S.r.l. and the activity is leaded in full by Marco Vittadini as General Manager. 

In 2001 he has appointed Managing Director and Chairman of La Marves srl.
